Everybody was excited. They had every reason to be. The key players of the Visit Davao Fun Sale gathered at the seaside tent of the Waterfront Hotel for the kick-off party. On the fourth year run of DVFS, 2017 promises to be action-packed and more thrilling for the Davao region.

The twin themed event, Coachella plus “sparty”, proved to be fun and relaxing for the revelers. It was a good way to prime everyone for hectic summer days ahead.

After Benjie Lizada, VDFS Execom Chairman, popped the cork to signify the formal launch of the 2017 promotion, he led the ceremonial toast. With him on stage were Robby Alabado, DOT-11 Director, and the DVFS committee heads representing the hotels and restaurants, local tours, spa, pocket events and the arts; and the event partners: City Government of Davao, AirAsia, Bonamine, BPI Cards, Cebu Pacific, and Tanduay.

Cocktails, raffle, spa massage treats and live entertainment, which was highlighted with a performance from R&B singer, Kyla, were enjoyed throughout the evening.
