Seda Abreeza turns 6

For its 6th year anniversary celebration, Seda Abreesa threw a lavish 1950s carnival-themed party for its guests and partners in the industry.

“Spectacular at Six: The Vintage Carnival” is more than just a party but the hotel’s showcase of food, music, and gathering of friends. Excitement was clearly written in Seda Abreeza’s General Manager Ken Kapulong as he delivered his message, “Six years in Davao, and as the name Seda suggests – we had a seamless and smooth journey being here. We can claim that we have been successful in making our hotel your second home – whether you are in business or a staycation – because you are all still here, celebrating with us. We owe it to all of you.” He further expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all guests, highlighting that the team is excited to spend more years with memorable stays, exquisite food, and stronger partnerships.

Welcome to the Carnival

Fun in the carnival knows no age

The event was made more exciting with circus-inspired production numbers and performances from Siningtala Dance Company, and the great music played by Muzicskool’s Gap 69.

At the photo booth, I singled out the “I came for the cake” placard, which I can honestly say is true. Whenever Seda hosts an event, I look forward to what Executive Sous Chef Bang Sibala will fill her dessert table with. Again, she didn’t disappoint. I particularly loved the Bailey’s Mille Crepe.

I came for the cake

But I came for the classic Roasted Angus Beef, too, and the other carnival bites—mini burgers, hotdogs, pizza, popcorn and cotton candy.

I raised my glass to Seda’s milestone but there was more cause to celebrate. I applaud their efforts to helping save the Philippines Eagle. This year, they announced one of their prime CSR initiative: Seda Hotels’ adopted Philippine Eagle “Mayumi”. Mayumi translates to gentle or refined. This partnership was officially sealed with the meeting of the Seda Hotels group headed by Senior Group General Manager Andrea Mastellone and Philippine Eagle Foundation group led by Executive Director Dennis Salvador last March 27, 2019 in Seda Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. Seda Hotels has long been supportive of the Philippine Eagle Foundation. Since 2015, the hotel group supports the center’s Bird Ambassadors Program, adopting five hotel species.

Congratulations, Seda Abreeza!
