A room transformed into a verdant garden with orchids blooming, music- from classical to contemporary performed live by Davao talents and an impressive dinner menu that highlighted the best local ingredients. It was an evening filled with every element that made everyone present feel good— and this is Park Inn by Radisson Davao’s specialty. It’s a feeling that lingers long after anyone departs from the hotel.

The ‘feel good’ hospitality is embedded in Park Inn Davao’s culture and for the past 10 years, this is what it imparts to each and every guest. It’s a milestone deserving of a sparkling celebration.

“The theme for tonight, ‘Park Inn by Radisson Davao @ Sparkling 10: A Decade of #FeelGood hospitality’ showcases ten notable years of genuine service marked by resilience and competence. Park Inn by Radisson Davao has stood through the challenges of the times and has managed to remain a relevant player in the city's tourism sector,” said Peggy Angeles, Executive Vice President of SM Hotels & Conventions Corp. (SMHCC).

In 2013, the first Park Inn by Radisson brand in the Asia Pacific Region opened in Davao City. It didn’t take long for the hotel to establish itself as one of Davao’s favored business and leisure addresses. With its success, other Park Inn hotels grew across the country - Clark in 2015, Iloilo and North Edsa, Manila in 2019 and in Bacolod in 2021.

Angles said that the growth would not have been possible if not for the pioneering achievements of the Park Inn by Radisson Davao team who helped pave the way for the development of the other Park Inn hotels in the country. It brought the same brand of innovative products and inspired service that was first forged in the Davao property.

“Celebrations like these create the opportunity for recollection on the past memorable years,” said Sven Toune, general manager of Park Inn by Radisson Davao. He shared that throughout the challenges and the successes the hotel experienced in the last decade, Park Inn Davao is grateful that it continues to be one of the top chosen accommodations in the city and it looks forward to more years ahead as one of the prime hotels in Davao.

Toune also shared the improvement projects in the pipeline, projects that are in line with its goal to be the leading accommodation sector in the city while keeping intact the Filipino hospitality it is known for.

In a video message from Singapore, Andre de Jong, Radisson Hotel Group vice president for operations said that ever since the hotel opened in 2013, the bright and vibrant Park Inn by Radisson Davao has been one of the most popular places to stay receiving accolades from award-giving bodies. He credits the hard work and dedication of the Park Inn Davao team who are unceasing in their efforts to create an exceptional guest experience. The team epitomizes the spirit of Radisson Hotel Group’s “Yes I can” service philosophy.
