True to its commitment to elevating the craft and talent of Davao and Mindanao, Dusit Davao made a weekend dedicated to fashion and culture, featuring a meet & greet with today’s icons and trendsetters and Francis Libiran’s Cruise/Holiday 2023 collection.
Dusit Davao achieves another milestone as the epicenter for creative expression of the region. Last September 22 and 23, the hotel and residence properties mounted two successful events – Culture + Fashion: Meet & Greet the country’s Fashion Icons and Trendsetters and Francis Libiran Cruise/Holiday 2023 Runway Special.

In Culture + Fashion, Dusit Davao brought together the executives from Vogue Philippines — Rhoda Ocampo-Aldanese (COO and Publisher), Pam Quiñones (Fashion Editor), Joyce Oreña (Beauty Editor), Audrey Carpio (Features Editor), Fashion Entrepreneur Icon Tina Maristela Ocampo, and Fashion Designer Francis Libiran. In a rare setup, these icons conducted an up-close and interactive dialogue with Davao’s designers, creatives, models, and media.
In his message, Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing Nico Estrella said that Dusit Davao really wishes for the event to be memorable – an exchange of thoughts, a chance to learn, and a way to be heard as well. “This is only the beginning of the many things we are going to make, as a vessel of fashion, culture, and arts in the region. We are bringing Davao to new heights and on bigger stages in the future.” The different groups had ample time to converse and create meaningful interactions over the brunch soiree.
By September 23, a huge night commenced for the fashion industry in the region as national and local designers and personalities gather in Dusit Davao to see Francis Libiran’s Cruise/Holiday 2023 collection.

Known for bridal collections, Francis Libiran puts forward another version of himself with his Cruise/Holiday 2023 collection that showcases sophisticated and timeless ready-to-wear pieces ideal for an everyday look. He also featured his fragrance collection during the pop-up and made-to-measure appointments.
