In sneak preview event, the new capsule collection of Cebuana designer Vania Romoff for Plains and Prints was held recently at Chimes Davao.
This is the second collaboration of the designer with the RTW brand. The first was for The Heart of Fashion, which benefitted the ICanServe Foundation.
For the new 12-piece capsule collection for the brand, Romoff goes Pinoy on her choice of prints utlizing the bouganvilla and the ikat on her flouncy tops and dresses and loose bottoms. The printed pieces works well with the single-toned separates that bears the designer’s signature detailing.
“It’s all about the Filipina woman,” she said, which she further describes as proud, powerful and confident in her feminity.
“This collection is very approachable and wearable. These are clothes any woman can wear. It is fun, romantic and feminine,” said Romoff.
Before the collection is made available in all Plains & Prints stores nationwide on July 15th, the Davao women got first dibs on the new collection.
