City dwelling at Ivory Residences and Obsidian Suites

THEY are rising. Years ago, vertical living in the country’s largest city by area was totally unthinkable. Times have changed. With the population rising, so is the need for shelter. Though villages have sprung in the far north and south, there are those who still prefer to stay at the city center. The solution?Condominiums.

A number of developers have stepped in and built their high-rise residences across the city.

Jumping in the bandwagon is a homegrown developer, Santos Land Development Company (SLDC), which has been in the real estate business for more than four decades. The company has built homes horizontally and now it’s building skywards.
