The paintings are his tribute to his father, who he accompanied in the farms in the past. The experience molded him to become a lover of nature.

Vic Secuya says of his painting: The forms in the paintings are subjective, forms that represent the elements of the farm. They are symbols to be deciphered. This collection expresses his unique personal style, and declares that at 61 years of age, “I am certain of their authentic aesthetic validity.”

Of the book, “Art Insights, 60 Essays on Art and Life”, Secuya said, “Out of the pain, I wrote those essays,” referring to the painful illness he experienced in 2017. Excerpts from the book were read by his peers from the Toastmasters Club.
