Scandinavian Film Festival launched in Davao

It’s the first in the Philippines—the Scandinavian Film Festival, a joint project by the embassies of Sweden, Denmark and Norway in Manila in partnership with the Film Development Council of the Philippines. By offering a glimpse of Scandinavian culture through film, it aims to foster a deeper mutual understanding and dialogue between our cultures.

The film fest was officially launched in Davao on April 28 at the SM Lanang Cinema. Rosita, a Danish Film which features a Filipina as one of the leading characters, kicked off the festival.

Present at the opening reception were the Ambassadors of the three embassies in Manila.
