Who would you go to for your skin treatment? Someone you know and someone you trust. Perhaps this is how Skin Doctors came about. A group of highly trained dermatologists pooling their talents together to open a specialized skin care clinic in Davao. Their mission? To provide excellent and quality care tailored to one’s skin needs.
Skin Doctors Dermatology and Laser Center opened its first clinic in 1997 in Gaisano Mall, then the newest mall in the city, with four doctors, all members of the Philippine Medical Association and Philippine Dermatological Society: Dr. Ma. Pacita Belisario, Dr. Carlos Pacheco, Dr. Ma. Assumpta Cecilia Serrano, and Dr. Lalaine Rabe. In 2002, Dr. Karen Alabado joined the team, and on their 17th anniversary, two more doctors became partners- Dr. Christine Calolot and Dr. Jennifer Aileen Ang-Tangtatco as its new partners in the corporation.
Today, the proudly homegrown brand operates two clinics: the original branch in GMall and Quinque by Skin Doctors at SM Lanang Premier.
This year, Skin Doctors celebrates its 20th anniversary. Two decades of services to people who run to these doctors because of they are caring, competent and trustworthy. In the company of family, friends and loyal clients, the milestone was celebrated.
There is more to the gathering. Not only was a new logo launched to strengthen the brand, the clinic introduced its new machine, the state-of-the-art StarWalker, which offers a full range of laser treatment for pigmented lesion and skin whitening.
The most exciting project to date was unveiled- a new three-storey building to house the Skin Doctors’ flagship clinic. It will be be inaugurated soon.
