To be surrounded by the artworks of the Philippines' illustrious artists can only happen in a museum. Not in Davao. Until now.

Salcedo Auctions brings to Davao “The Well-Appointed Life,” its first-ever private viewing event outside Metro Manila. It features a curated collection of items to be auctioned off in September.

Fernando Amorsolo. Harvesting Perales. 1949. Oil on canvas.

The special Davao vernisage and preview showcases the works by the most celebrated names in Philippine art, including National Artists Fernando Amorsolo, Ang Kiukok, BenCab, Jose Joya, Cesar Legaspi, Vicente Manansala, HR Ocampo, and J. Elizalde Navarro; modernist icons Mauro Malang Santos, Manuel Baldemor, Anita Magsaysay Ho; and contemporary luminaries Jose John Santos III, Rodel Tapaya, and Manny Garibay, among others.

Richie Lerma, Chairman and chief specialist of Salcedo Auctions took the media personalities and guests to a walkthrough highlighting the significance of the art pieces and its provenance.

The exhibition will be open for viewing until September 1, 2924 at the Roofdeck of Damosa Diamond Tower, 4-10PM. The event is co-presented by Kahi Estates by Damosa Land.
