It’s not the first time the Waterfront Hotel outlet offers this promotion. “We decided to have a ‘comeback’ because of the positive response to last year’s Crab and Steak promotion, as well as requests from some of our frequent guests,” said the chef.

“It’s also a good harvest season for crabs, it makes them tastier. We source our crabs from Surigao.”

The quarter crab buffet menu includes the following main courses in an unlimited serving: Chili Crab, Salted Egg Crab, Curry Butter Crab and Squid and Pepper Crab and Shrimp in Pepper Sauce – all in a P650 nett rate.

Why Wednesdays and Fridays? “We figured that it will be good to market this promotion for Hump days as a mid-week treat and Fridays as a week-ender. After all, good food always gets us through one crazy week after another,” quipped Chef Victor.
