Wine, please

Cocktail hour. Where do you have you Martini, red wine or whiskey? May I suggest at Marco Polo. Anytime this July is good to visit the hotel, relax and raise the glass to good times ahead.

Like they say, everyday is a good day to have a cocktail or two. Having a glass of wine or a bottle of beer a day is said to be good for the health. Why not drink and be healthy?

My choice of drink is red wine and the recent gathering at Polo Bistro “Not So Serious Dinner” was an event I would not say no to.

The “Not So Serious Dinner” was an unconventional wine pairing dinner affair conceived by the GM Colin Healy and co-presented by Wine Warehouse. It also kicked off the hotel’s series of wine and dine events.

“It will redefine dining experience with a Filipino-themed setting. We will take you to a tour into the colorful world of wines from Rutherford Ranch,” said Marco Polo Davao General Manager Colin Healy, who introduced wine sommelier Daniel Blais.
