Every year, my first trip to the Bangkok always falls in May. Yup, I could have been in Bangkok and feasted on Phad Thai, Sticky Rice with Mango, and street food. No thanks to COVID-19, the trip was scratched.

Well, I got the next best thing. Green Curry Chicken (one of my favorites. I like the light touch of chili), Beef Massaman Curry, mix of spring rolls, for dessert, Mango Mousse Cake, all specialties of Benjarong, Dusit Davao’s Thai resto. How about that for a Thai food fix in the comforts of home?

Quarantine meals do not need to be boring especially now that you can enjoy your favorite dishes from Madayaw Café, Benjarong Davao and Dusit Gourmet with your loved ones from the comforts of your own home.
Available for pick-up and delivery are crowd pleasers such as Madayaw Café’s Lechon Kawali, Benjarong Davao’s Tom Yam Gung (Hot and Sour Soup with Prawn), Gang Khieo Wan Gai (Green Curry Chicken), Gaeng Massaman Nuea (Beef Massaman Cury), Pad Thai Gung Sod (Fried Noodle with Prawn), and Dusit Gourmet’s Ube Ensaymada and Malagos Chocolate Cake, among others. For orders worth PHP 900 and above, free delivery applies to areas within a 3-kilometer radius of the hotel and orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance.
For big families, Dusit Davao also offers four sharing set menus that start at PHP 2,000 for four persons. This comes with a starter, soup, an assortment of mains and dessert and guests can choose from Thai, Filipino and Western dishes. Orders for sharing set menus must be placed 24 hours in advance and come with free delivery within a 5 kilometer radius of the hotel.

Pick-up of orders will be at Siam Lounge. Contactless payment options through debit and credit cards are also available.
