With a promising line up of activities for the upcoming month, Dusit Davao kicks off its holiday celebration with a tree lighting ceremony highlighting what has always been important – being #HomeForTheHolidays.
On November 16, dusitD2 Davao and Dusit Thani Residence Davao kicks off the holiday cheer through its Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Attended by key industry partners, media friends, and the Dusit Team, the night was filled with meaningful pursuits.
This year, Dusit Davao’s campaign is centered on a more intimate perspective – being one’s #HomeForTheHolidays. Adorned with hues of green, silver, and white, the warmth, freshness, and elegance of the season comes to life with its decorations.
GM Christoph Kuch welcomed everyone with an inspiring message. He said, “This year’s holiday celebration is the culmination of a very fruitful year in Dusit Davao. From culinary, fashion, culture, to the arts, it has been our sincere pleasure to have offered you not only with diverse events, but meaningful gatherings and celebrations throughout 2023.”

“As we usher in this joyous occasion, we have thought of bringing you all HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS. This concept and campaign do not only invite you back home from wherever you are, but to come together with the ones you love and be surrounded with the best accommodation, food, and celebration that Dusit Davao can surely offer,” he further adds.
This was followed by the Christmas messages of Councilor Al Ryan Alejandre, on behalf of Mayour Sebastian Duterte and Ms. Jennifer Romero from the City Tourism Operations Office. In Hon. Alejandre’s message, he said that the city government is grateful to the property for not only enhancing the festive atmosphere but also underscores the spirit of community and togetherness, and making Davao City everyone’s home for the holidays.

CTOO Romero emphasized how the theme of Dusit Davao resonates a lot with the city’s celebration every holiday season. She also invited everyone to join on the upcoming activities for Davao City’s Pasko Fiesta.
With performances from Muzicskool’s singers and violinists, the Christmas tree lit up along with the ringing of the bells from esteemed guests. Present in the celebratory toasting were GM Christoph Kuch, Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing Nico Estrella, TLDC Business Development Manager Monica Lorenzo, Councilor Al Ryan Alejandre, and CTOO Jennifer Romero.
