Definitely a happy place

“TODAY is a special day for it brings us closer to the completion of the development of Wood Lane and also closer to the realization of or vision of a Wood Lane community.

Looking around us today, it is not difficult to imagine a close-knit and secure community where the residents and neighbors know each other. Where the clubhouse is an extension of their homes, and where their children grow up as lifelong friends. Definitely a happy place.”

It couldn’t have been said any better than Eric de la Costa did. He may be a part of the company that built the most livable communities in Davao City, this up and coming village included, but the family man in him was clearly speaking.

Who wouldn’t want to live in a place like this? See for yourself and you’ll be nodding in agreement. There is a big chance though that you’d want to move to this spot… right away. I wouldn’t be surprised.

Long before the gates were built on this property, I knew it will be paradise- only 77 lots and as well appointed as the rest of the communities Alsons Properties has developed, a clubhouse, pool, park, tree-lined streets and landscaping. Wood Lane will be the most exclusive enclave Alsons has conceived by far.

As if the entire idea of living Eden-like amidst the greens and tranquility of a small village is not enough, they unfolded another great facet of the development -- the Wood Lane Residences. Asian Contemporary in design influence, this row of houses is a carefully planned 6-unit townhomes in this premier enclave along Ma-a road.

“The Wood Lane Residences was conceived to merge sustainability with elegance and pleasing sense of space. This cozy two-storey house reflects a contemporary character with Asian appeal. It offers urban dwellers a sanctuary to lie and embrace nature by making landscape as natural extensions of the house,” said commissioned Architect Leo Pariñas of the LPPA Design Group.

Just as fast as the lots were sold, I am pretty sure the six houses of Wood Lane Residences will be as quick to go, long before the construction of the model unit is over. Six quests for a dream house will end here. Would you be surprised if I was one of them?

The guests of who came during the private festivity and the first day of the open house were quite impressed with Wood Lane’s swift development since the time of its conception, and even more impressed with the design of Wood Lane residences. A few of the future residents graced the occasion to get a glimpse of their future neighborhood and got the chance to meet their soon-to-be neighbors. Some brought their kids with them, and maybe just like what Eric said, these kids will grow up to be lifelong friends. Wood Lane is one happy place indeed.
