Hong Kong on the table

HOW long since I sat on a round table with Hong Kongese food on the Lazy Susan? If the setting would be in Hong Kong then that would be more than five years ago. If it’s in another place but with an array of mouth-watering Oriental Cuisine whipped up by an award-winning Hong Kong national, then that would be very recent.

If you are foodie, the location won’t matter that much for you have the chef with you, a chef like Sunny Cheng.

Sunny Cheng aka Chef Yeung Kwan Cheng, is an award-winning chef in Hong Kong, and he is in town to cook for Davao's foodies.

I couldn't resist but give this meat dish a try- the Sweet & Sour Pork with Blueberries

Form the delicious spread I was able to taste, the Deep-fried Squid with Mashed Salted Eggs and Seasonings landed on the top of my list. It was love at first bite, and I don’t mind going biting on it again and again until the chef leaves town.

On top of my favorite list - the Deep-fried Squid with Mashed Salted Eggs & Seasonings

You won’t go wrong on any of the two desserts. In fact, go for both! The Chilled Avocado Sago and the Chilled Mango Pudding are very light desserts with just a hint of sweetness that doesn’t overpower the flavors of the tropical fruits the dessert highlights.

Light & perfectly sweetened. Try both the Chilled Avocado Sago & Chilled Mango Pudding
