Let the Kadayawan Booddle FIght begin!

Bountiful harvest, hearty appetite, boodle fight!

WIth the guests gathered at the pre-dining table of RBG, the DOT-XI Regional Director voiced out his observation, "Almost everyone around the table is in black."

I replied, "We are mourning the death of our diet."

Park Inn by Radisson Davao celebrates the Kadayawan festival with a special Supersize Boodle Fight Meal (August 15 - 31) for Lunch and Dinner at RBG, all day dining restaurant.

As part of the Kadayawan celebration, the hotel is tweaking its Supersize family meal offering by making it a Boodle Fight style.

Tweaking the Supersize Meals to a Boodle FIght meal for August.

But before digging in into the sumptuous spread with your hands, have a refreshing drink of the featured drink of the month, the Pomejitos (pomelo + mojitos), your choice of alcoholic or non-alcoholic.

It's the non-alcoholic version of the Pomejitos for me for midday.

Daily for two weeks, the sumptuous dishes created by the chefs promise to excite all Dabawenyos and visiting tourists alike. On the spread are Grilled Vegetable Salad with Chevre Cheese, Tinolang Manok Soup, Grilled Squid, Fried Crablets, Grilled Tuna Belly, Chicken Inasal, Grilled Shrimp, Grilled Tilapia, Crispy Pork Belly, Lumpia Shanghai, Pancit, Special Davao Cake and Fresh Fruits on the menu. All served with Plain and Garlic Rice, plus a pitcher of drink. (Php1,999.00 net good for 6 to 7 persons).

The Boodle Fight Meal is good for 6-7 people.

For me, this is the highlight of the spread- the grilled vegetables with Malagos Chèvre Cheese

And what a surprise meal ender! For the first time, RBG makes a successful dessert in this  Durian-spiked chocolate cake with Malagos dark chocolate coating. The texture & flavor worked for me.

Adding to the fun is a chance to win Park Inn gift certificates. Take an Instax Photo (℅ RGB) of you and your group enjoying the meal, post it on the “Wall of Memories” for a chance to win a raffle. Announcement of winner will be on September 3.

See who had first dibs on the food promotion.
