It emerges at any time, in any place, from anything—perhaps a falling leaf as seasons change, a pebble standing out differently amid seashells by the shoreline, or the dawn of parenthood and any significant moment in life.
For her fourth solo exhibition, "Brief Eternities," Bing Toajo's creative process was sparked by spoken words: "Bing, you have come full circle." It was a remark uttered by one visiting guest at an earlier solo exhibition, Becoming | Unbecoming, in Davao City. These words moved the artist to pick up her brush once more and interpret her color-filled visions on canvas.
