Where will you be this summer?

DTAA MEGA TRAVEL SALE EXPO 2011

It is the second serving of the Davao Travel Agents Association and they are making the the trip to your dream destination irresistible. Drop everything else and head to the Atrium of Gaisano Mall on Friday, March 4. The expo will run until Sunday, March 6.

This travel sale show promises special promotional packages, suffice to say, the trips to the destinations offered will be at the lowest cost.

PLUS- big discounts from participating airlines, tour operators, cruise ships, resorts and hotels.

MINUS- the web's "error in processing" or processing is at snail's pace that your intended booking is sold out even before you get to the next page.

Let the travel agents do the tapping on the keyboard and search for the best rates on the dates you like pronto! ...... Au revoir! You are off to another dream destination.

So, before pressing that send button on your internet-booked vacation, best to think twice,  DTAA may just have something better (read: cheaper) to offer. A few more days of waiting may just turn the money you save into extra shopping moolah.

Maricar dela Cruz, DTAA Asst. Secretary, says that although there are numerous places to visit during the summer season, there seems to be a love for the Asian spots. Not so surprising since these are the most economically viable if the entire family is traveling.

2010's top selling destinations for the DTAA expo was Hong Kong, Singapore and Macau, where packages were sold very attractive prices.
